Carob honey is also known as a traditional medicine for cough and sore throat.
It has a high calcium content (almost three times as much as milk, carob has 350mg per 100gr compared to milk which has 120mg per 100gr). The taste may vary depending on the variety used without changing the nutritional values. For its production we use only Cretan carobs.

Carob pectin is derived from the locust bean, the locust bean fruit, and specifically from the endosperm of the locust bean seed.
